1. About Find My Journey

Find My Journey is an AI-powered career discovery tool operated by Find My Journey (ABN 94 672 651 253), a sole trader business registered in Victoria, Australia. It is designed to help young Australians aged 15–25 explore career options that may suit their personality, values and circumstances.

2. Acceptance of terms

By using Find My Journey, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

3. Nature of the service

Find My Journey provides AI-generated career suggestions based on your answers to an online assessment. These suggestions are:

• For guidance and exploration purposes only
• Not a substitute for professional career counselling, vocational assessment or psychological advice
• Not guaranteed to be accurate, complete or suitable for any particular individual
• Generated by an AI model and may contain errors or omissions

Salary information is indicative only and based on general Australian market data. Actual salaries vary by employer, location, experience and negotiation.

Find My Journey is not a registered psychologist, career counsellor or employment service. If you require professional support, please seek qualified advice.

4. Who can use Find My Journey

Find My Journey is designed for young Australians aged 15–25. Users under 15 are encouraged to use this tool with the knowledge and support of a parent or guardian. There is no account required to use Find My Journey as an individual Explorer.

Institutions — including schools, TAFEs, universities, employment service providers and private practitioners — may access Find My Journey through a separate institutional arrangement. The specific terms governing institutional access, including pricing, usage limits, billing arrangements and data responsibilities, are set out in a separate agreement between the institution and Find My Journey.

5. CV Builder

The Find My Journey CV Builder generates draft CV content based on information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and verifying all CV content before using it in a job application. Find My Journey takes no responsibility for the accuracy of CV content or outcomes arising from its use.

6. Institutional use and consent

Where Find My Journey is accessed through an institutional arrangement, the institution is responsible for:

• Ensuring appropriate consent is obtained from students or clients — and their parents or guardians where the individual is under 18 — before initiating an assessment
• The appropriate and lawful use of results data accessible through the institutional portal
• Compliance with applicable privacy laws in relation to student or client data held by the institution

Find My Journey acts as a data processor on behalf of institutions in relation to student data. The institution is the primary data controller for its students’ information.

7. AI-generated content

Find My Journey uses Anthropic’s Claude AI model to generate career results, occupational descriptions, CV content and other outputs. By using Find My Journey, you acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, outdated information or unsuitable suggestions
• You should independently verify any factual information before relying on it
• Find My Journey does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Find My Journey in any way that is unlawful, harmful or deceptive
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or extract data from Find My Journey
• Use Find My Journey to generate content for commercial resale without our written permission
• Submit false, misleading or harmful content through the assessment
• Share assessment links in a way that circumvents intended usage or billing arrangements

9. Intellectual property

The Find My Journey brand, methodology, assessment design, software and content are owned by Find My Journey (ABN 94 672 651 253). The AI-generated results produced for you during your session are yours to use for personal career exploration purposes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Find My Journey is not liable for any loss, damage or harm arising from:

• Use of this tool or reliance on AI-generated results
• Any career decisions made based on Find My Journey output
• Interruption, unavailability or errors in the service
• Unauthorised access to or loss of data

The tool is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
