Accessibility

Accessible

Find My Journey is built to work for every young Australian.

Our commitment

Find My Journey is designed to be usable by as many young Australians as possible, including those with disabilities, learning differences or access needs. We are committed to continuous improvement of our accessibility.

Design principles

No timed tests

Find My Journey contains no timed aptitude tests. You can take as long as you need to answer each question. There is no timer and no penalty for taking breaks.

Sensitive Explorer Protocol

Our assessment includes a Sensitive Explorer Protocol that identifies when a young person may benefit from calmer, more structured career suggestions. This is designed to serve neurodiverse Explorers — including those with anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, or learning differences — without requiring them to disclose their condition.

Plain language

All questions and results are written in plain, warm Australian English. We avoid jargon and write at an accessible reading level. Where technical terms appear, plain-language explanations are provided.

Colour and contrast

Find My Journey uses a colour palette designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements for body text. We do not rely on colour alone to convey meaning.

Keyboard navigation

The assessment can be navigated using keyboard only. Interactive elements are focusable and labelled appropriately.

Screen reader support

We use semantic HTML and ARIA labels where appropriate to support screen reader users.

Known limitations

Find My Journey is a continuously evolving product. Some areas we are actively working to improve include:
